THIRD PRINCIPLE

EDUCATION

Education is a pedagogical approach that promotes the construction of knowledge with meaning. That is, a knowledge that acquires significance from a reason for being, a usefulness in practical life and an obvious purpose for the student. In addition to not forgetting the need to have a series of basic knowledge in memory, this approach gives priority to the use of these in the multiple opportunities offered by daily life, as well as their relationship with issues closer to the student and older present.

It is important that learning objectives and methodologies are based on everyday issues to attract the interest of students and involve them in making decisions concerning their environment. In this way goals become executable objectives that can be observed in the different ways people perform in those that produce both conceptually and materially and in the way they establish connections and relationships, value ideas and theories to establish critical judgments , articulate knowledge that was not present before and develop new understandings. It is decisive that the youth participate in the elaboration and execution of the plans that have to do with the improvement of their quality of life.

An active education is essential to give students the opportunity to express their opinion, debate and contribute to the construction of their knowledge and personal development which allows them to become active beings in society aware of the meaning of having rights and knowledge of the importance of respecting and recognizing the rights of others.
