The PESCC project of the educational institution has the following characteristics:
- Participatory process: That is, it involves the whole educational community (teachers, managers, students, parents and family).
- Transversal: Impacts the life of the educational institution; all areas and levels, institutional and non-curricular spaces.
- Part of everyday situations that become pedagogical opportunities for the development of skills needed to build a meaningful life project.
This Pedagogical Project is guided by a series of conducting threads that guide education for sexuality. The driving threads are based on sexual and reproductive rights and start from:
- FUNCTIONS: Communicative-Relational, Erotic, Affective and Reproductive.
- COMPONENTS: Gender Identity, Cultural Behaviors of Gender and Sexual Orientation.
- CONTEXTS: Individual, Couple, Family and Society.
