EDUCATION FOR THE SEXUALITY AND CONSTRUCTION OF CITIZENSHIP

Sexuality education for sexuality proposes as a challenge the promotion of knowledge, skills attitudes and values ​​that favor human dignity and the exercise of sexual and reproductive human rights and the achievement of sexual and reproductive health, from autonomous persons who establish ever more peaceful democratic and pluralist relations. These proposals seek to ensure that schools favor healthy living, the exercise of citizenship and basic learning for life.

As sexuality is a dimension that manifests itself in the public and in the private, the school can and should play a fundamental role in the development of competences for its free, healthy, autonomous and enjoyable exercise that allows subjects to recognize themselves and to relate to oneself and to others from different cultures. This implies an effort by the education sector to strengthen the identity of each of the members, including strengthening self-esteem, critical role analysis and cultural behavioral construction of gender, building pluralistic environments where all the members of the community can choose and live an orientation erotic sex and affective sex determined autonomously and free from discrimination risks and threats coercion or violence to live without humiliation and have physical and moral integrity.
